This study also looks at the application of information technology and its impact on employee performance. Both factors, technology competence and the application of information technology, are analyzed simultaneously and partially. For this study, we utilized two research methods: descriptive survey and explanatory survey. We focused on the employees of the Education Office in West Java Province, with a sample size of 50 individuals as our unit of analysis. Our investigation delved into the cause-and-effect relationship, while our time horizon was cross-sectional in nature. After analyzing the findings of the study, it was discovered that the employees at the West Java Provincial Education Office received a fairly satisfactory level of Application of Information Technology. Additionally, the competencies of these employees were deemed suitable and adequate to fulfill their requirements. Moreover, their performance at the office was found to be exceptionally high. Furthermore, it was observed that the joint impact of Information and Competence Technology significantly influences employee performance at the West Java Provincial Education Office. However, it should be noted that when considering individual factors, the influence of Information Technology on employee performance surpasses that of Competence. Since the integration of Information Technology has emerged as a prevailing force in influencing productivity, it should be given utmost precedence in the effort to enhance employee performance. Consequently, it is suggested that the West Java Provincial Education Office receive a fitting Information Technology Application by augmenting user-friendliness of other information technology resources, thereby enabling them to effectively carry out their duties with a higher degree of professionalism.
