Abstract

In the Marketing Division of PT Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia, both simultaneously and partially, this study aims to analyze and find out the effect of Compensation and Competence on employee performance. For this study, the research method employed was descriptive survey and explanatory survey. The focus of the analysis was on the employees working in the Marketing Division of PT Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia, with a sample size of 50 individuals. The type of investigation conducted aimed to establish causality, while the time horizon considered for this study is cross-sectional in nature. After analyzing the study's findings, it was discovered that the employees in PT Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia's Marketing Division received a satisfactory level of compensation. Furthermore, the competence of these employees was deemed suitable and adequate to meet their requirements. Notably, the performance of these individuals within the Marketing Division was found to be quite high. Additionally, it was determined that both compensation and competence had a simultaneous effect on employee performance. However, it is worth noting that compensation had a more dominant impact on performance compared to competency. Improving employee performance is a top priority, as it is strongly influenced by compensation. With this in mind, it is recommended that the Marketing Division of PT Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia be provided with compensation that aligns with regulations, including an increase in supplementary benefits. This will enable them to carry out their work in a more professional manner.
